l lipote (Lipotes vexillifer Miller, 1918), in cinese baiji, è un delfino di acqua dolce che popolava le acque del fiume Yangtze in Cina. potrebbe già essere estinto: tra il 1997 e il 1999 ne sono stati avvistati solo 13. L'ultimo avvistamento è avvenuto nel 2007.
Il lipote (Lipotes vexillifer Miller, 1918), in cinese baiji (白暨豚), è un delfino di acqua dolce che popolava le acque del fiume Yangtze in Cina.
Questa specie dichiarata a grave rischio di estinzione nel 1996 (tra il 1997 e il 1999 sono stati registrati 13 avvistamenti), individuata nuovamente il 30 agosto 2007 è probabilmente è estinta (anno di valutazione 2010).
