Le due cucciole di panda rosso ospiti del giardino zoologico di Knoxville, nel Tennessee, si apprestano ora a diventare anche delle stelle di prima grandezza nel web.

I promotori dell’iniziativa hanno l’obiettivo di focalizzare l’attenzione su una specie protetta e fortemente minacciata d’estinzione. A lanciare l’iniziativa è Mozilla, l’organizzazione no profit che promuove l’apertura e la partecipazione in Internet nota per avere lanciato sul mercato quello che è considerato l’anti-Explorer, ovvero il browser di navigazione Firefox, che poi non è altro che il nome inglese del panda rosso mutuato dalla definizione cinese di «volpe di fuoco». E che ora ha deciso di «adottare» le due nuove arrivate.
